Mary-Ellen has been an active member of the spatial and surveying community since 1998 working in federal government, academic and private sector roles, as well as managing projects for state, local and federal government agencies and the private sector. Mary-Ellen champions new technology and the management of the data that comes along with it. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the Locate board from her experience on the NSW Government Board for Surveying & Spatial Information (BOSSI), her committee work with Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) and the Homeward Bound Program – promoting Women leaders in STEM. She has a passion for breaking the mould and doing things a little outside the box.
